Around Cutelo there extends a well-maintained area of level fields where traditional agriculture is carried out with a mix of crops in parallel with animal husbandry. Farmed plots are discontinuous, here and there broken by small oak copses, water channels and even some patches of scrub, forming in total a highly varied landscape and a patchwork of habitats with extremely rich biodiversity.
