From the viewpoint of Fraga Negra, located at a lower altitude (500 m), there is a more restricted view of the Gerês river valley, but on the other hand, a closer and more detailed view over Caldas do Gerês. Such a perusal allows us to confirm how the buildings are clustered at the bottom of the valley and how the village has developed in the form of a tongue alongside the river.
To the north, we can see up to the curved slopes of Preguiça and to the south we view over the flat waters of Caniçada reservoir and the slopes of Cabreira beyond.
