Oak woodlands and agricultural patchwork of Cutelo

Cutelo, Terras de Bouro

In the vicinity of Cutelo small patches of oak woods are preserved which form a patchwork with farmed areas, areas of scrub and with the nucleus of rural buildings.

In this case, we are in the presence of an oak woodland that is dominated by pedunculate oak but where other emblematic species of the flora of the region occur such as holly. This is a good place to try to observe birds such as the goshawk, great-spotted woodpecker, black cap or common jay.
